Whether your child is 5 or 15, we’ve got events designed to spark their creativity and give them a place to express themselves (with a little less screen time and a whole lot more paint 🎉).
👧 KIDS EVENTS
From slime nights and sea creature painting to glow-in-the-dark fairy canvases and messy splatter fun—they’ll come home with more than just art... they’ll come home with pride (and possibly glitter in their hair).
🧑🎨 TEEN NIGHTS
These aren’t your little sibling’s paint parties. We’re talking custom trucker hats, trendy canvas projects, DIY room decor, and even edgy splatter sessions that are Instagram-worthy AND attitude-approved.

Homeschool
Rare Bird Art Studio is a creative arts studio located in Riverview, Florida, specializing in enriching experiences for children, families, and creatives of all ages. Our mission is to provide a fun, welcoming space where young artists can explore their imagination, build confidence, and grow their artistic skills through engaging and meaningful instruction.
In addition to our paint-and-sip events, birthday parties, and seasonal workshops, Rare Bird Art Studio proudly offers a robust art program for students in grades K–12. Designed to meet the needs of both new and experienced homeschool families, our curriculum emphasizes skill-building, creative exploration, and exposure to a wide range of artistic mediums.
Our Art classes are structured for ages 5–17 and are tailored to support a variety of learning styles and artistic abilities. Through guided instruction and hands-on projects, students learn foundational and advanced art techniques, art history, and creative problem-solving.
We are in the process of becoming a Step Up For Students provider, making our program even more accessible to Florida homeschool families.

Course Description:
Kick off the weekend with a burst of creativity at Rare Bird Art Studio! Our Friday Home School Art Adventures are specially designed for young artists ages 5–9 who love to paint, build, color, and explore.
Each week, students will dive into a new art adventure inspired by legendary artists like Monet, Frida Kahlo, Van Gogh, and more. We’ll alternate between guided paintings and hands-on craft projects—perfect for sparking imagination while building skills in color theory, composition, and expression.
Our approach keeps it fun and age-appropriate while introducing children to important concepts in the world of art. No experience necessary—just bring your curiosity and creativity!

● Develop confidence using a variety of art materials

Rare Bird Art Studio is an approved Step Up For Students (SUFS) provider in Florida! If you’re a homeschool parent using the PEP (Personalized Education Program) voucher, here’s how you can apply your funds toward our art classes:

✅ Step 1: Log in to Your Step Up For Students Account

Click “Login” in the upper right-hand corner

Select the EMA Portal (Education Market Assistant)
✅ Step 2: Choose the Student
Once logged in, select the student’s name who will be attending the class.
✅ Step 3: Request a Purchase

Go to your PEP student dashboard

Click “New Reimbursement Request” or “Pay Provider”

Choose “Direct Payment to Provider” (NOT reimbursement)
✅ Step 4: Select Rare Bird Art Studio as Your Provider

When prompted, search for "Rare Bird Art Studio" in the provider list
(Location: Riverview, FL – make sure it matches!) -
Select the class or program you want to apply funds toward (ex: After School Art, Homeschool Art Series)
✅ Step 5: Enter Class Information
Here’s what you’ll need to fill in:

Program Title: (Example: Friday After School Art or Homeschool Art Series)

Amount: (Use the total cost for the semester or session you're registering for)

Date Range: (Use class start and end dates — ex: August 22 – December 13)

Description: "Weekly visual arts instruction for students ages [insert age]. Includes all materials, hands-on projects, and instruction aligned with PEP-approved enrichment goals."
✅ Step 6: Submit Request & Wait for Approval

Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by Step Up

Once approved, Rare Bird Art Studio will be notified, and your child’s spot will be secured!
