Week 1 (Aug 13) | Getting Started with Oil Pastels: Learn the foundations of oil pastels as you master pressure control, blending, layering, color mixing, and shading. Build confidence with this vibrant medium while creating a bright, textured Sunflower Bouquet that introduces the essential techniques you'll use throughout the series.
Week 2 (Aug 20) | Coastal Landscapes: Bring the beach to life! Learn how to create soft skies, sandy dunes, and peaceful water while mastering depth, texture, and simple perspective to paint a beautiful Beach Dunes landscape full of movement and atmosphere.
Week 3 (Aug 27) | Texture & Fur: Discover the secrets to making animals look soft and realistic. Learn directional strokes, layered color, and light and shadow techniques to create rich, dimensional fur while painting an adorable Highland Cow.
Week 4 (Sept 3) | Loose Florals: Let your creativity bloom! Learn soft blending, expressive brushless techniques, layered petals, and color harmony to create a beautiful Wildflowers in a Vase painting that's loose, vibrant, and full of movement.
Week 5 (Sept 10) | Painting on Black Paper: Watch your colors come alive! Learn how to work on black paper using dramatic contrast, glowing light effects, and layered color to create a breathtaking Northern Lights masterpiece while learning how to properly finish and protect your artwork.
